all plans: vmware vm · 1 gbps · unmetered · 1 ipv4 · root · annual = 10 × monthly

Prices are per server. No setup fee on any of them. Monthly plans renew monthly; annual plans renew annually at ten times the monthly rate.

What every plan includes

The only things that change between sizes are vCPU count, memory and disk. Everything else is identical, so you never have to buy a bigger server just to get a feature.

  • A full VMware virtual machine with your own kernel.
  • NVMe-backed SSD storage.
  • 1 Gbps network port with unmetered traffic.
  • One dedicated IPv4 address with editable reverse DNS.
  • Root access and a choice of seven images, including Debian 12, Ubuntu 24.04 and Rocky Linux 9.
  • Browser console, rescue mode, reinstall, snapshots and scheduled backups in the portal.
  • Per-server firewall rules and SSH key management.
  • Account API keys and webhooks. Details on the API page.

Monthly or annual

Monthly is the right call while you are still finding the right size. You can step up or down without being locked into a year of the wrong machine.

Annual makes sense once a workload has settled. The maths is simple: pay for ten months, run for twelve. That is a 16.7% discount against paying monthly for the same year.

How to choose

Memory is the constraint you hit first on almost every Linux workload. Work out what your processes need resident, add a quarter for page cache and headroom, then pick the smallest plan that clears it.

  • 2 GB (Spark): one service, a reverse proxy, a small database. Personal projects and single-purpose boxes.
  • 4 GB (Boost): an app plus its database on the same host, or a CI runner for a modest repo.
  • 8 GB (Turbo): a Docker Compose stack with several services, or a staging copy of production.
  • 12 GB (Nitro): the same four cores as Turbo with half again the memory, for caches and JVMs.
  • 16 GB (Warp): six cores for parallel builds or busy application servers.
  • 32 GB (Hyper): databases that want their working set in RAM, and build machines that compile big trees.

If you are unsure, start one size smaller than your gut says and watch the graphs in the portal for a week. Moving up is a ticket away.

Running more than one server

Prices scale linearly. Three Boosts cost three times one Boost; there is no account tier, seat licence or platform fee on top. Many teams run a mix: a Spark as a bastion host, a Turbo for the app and a Hyper for the database. Each is billed on its own cycle, so you can put the long-lived database on annual and keep experimental boxes monthly.

What you will not find

No introductory price that jumps at renewal. No traffic overage. No paid tier for console access. No sterling figure on this page that turns into a different dollar figure at checkout. If something costs money, the portal shows you the amount before you agree to it.

Price list changes

We keep a short log here whenever the table above changes, so the numbers you remember can be checked against the numbers you see.

  • 27 October 2026. Plans renamed: Micro, Small, Medium, Plus, Pro and Max are now Spark, Boost, Turbo, Nitro, Warp and Hyper. Specs did not change. Spark stays at $5; the other five went up by $1 or $2 a month (Boost $8, Turbo $13, Nitro $15, Warp $22, Hyper $28). Old plan URLs redirect to the new pages. If you already run a server, the portal shows the amount your next renewal will charge.

Paying and invoices

Orders are placed in the portal and paid by card. Invoices, receipts and payment history live under your account. For the long version, including cancellation and what happens on non-payment, see billing.

Questions

Why are prices in dollars when you are a UK provider?

Our checkout currently bills in US dollars. Rather than show sterling figures that would not match your invoice, we show what you will actually be charged. GBP billing is not available yet.

How much does annual billing save?

Annual costs ten times the monthly price, so you get twelve months for the price of ten. On Hyper that is $280 a year instead of $336.

Is traffic really unmetered?

Yes. Every plan has a 1 Gbps port with no monthly transfer cap and no overage charge. Normal acceptable-use rules still apply.

Can I change plan later?

Yes. Open a ticket from the portal and support will move you to the size you need. We do not offer a self-service resize button today.

Are there extra charges for backups or snapshots?

Check the portal for what is included with your server. Anything chargeable is shown there before you enable it, never added silently.
